Abstract

In this paper we intend to consider the current position o ICT in the lives of young people and how the curriculum, both in schools and in initial teacher education, needs to be developed and implemented to enhance children's wisdom and well-being through their active engagement with technology. Evidence will be taken from recent academic debate and research as well as experience and data both in the primary classroom and in our current role helping to prepare primary student teachers to enter the teaching profession.
