Abstract

This chapter will explore the relationship between Learning Outside the Classroom (LOTC) and children's spiritual and moral development in school. an area where it would appear relatively little research data exists (Rea 2011). It will discuss the particular learning a well as the challenges to achieving such opportunities. The chapter will be supported by data collected from questionnaires completed by a group of secondary geography trainee teachers on completion of their PGCE course.
