Abstract

This chapter explores the premise that positive relationships are at the very heart of effective teaching and learning, facilitating all positive classroom experiences. Specifically, an argument will be presented here that positive relationships enable pupils to develop personally, socially and emotionally, therefore contributing significantly to well-being.
