Abstract

Roman Catholic ethics has its own particular significance because morality is understood in the theological context of God’s plan of salvation for human beings. Human beings are called to live a life in Christ and the Spirit where morality is faith in action. Simultaneously, Roman Catholic ethics can be understood by careful reflection on what it is to be a unique, unrepeatable human being existing in community with other unique human beings where human dignity demands that each human being is to be respected as a someone, an other, and not as a something, an object.
