Abstract

We are in a world ever in need of human solidarity. I suggest that the lived experience of solidarity in communities such as L’Arche can bring the healing touch of God, and, if allowed, it can also become a significant beacon of light for the world. As Jean Vanier would say, the L’Arche experience of community helps us all to become truly human
